Description: The Lamoille Regional Solid Waste Management District is mission driven to reduce the quantity and toxicity of the trash being generated and sent to the landfill. Twelve member towns make up the LRSWMD: Belvidere, Cambridge, Craftsbury, Eden, Elmore, Hyde Park, Johnson, Morrisville, Stowe, Waterville, Wolcott, and Worcester. The LRSWMD operates six transfer stations across the District that are open to the public for trash, recycling, and management of special wastes and are open to the public. Description: Recyclers & Drop Off Location The City of Louisville provides curbside recycling to residential customers through our contract with Papillion Sanitation. This pickup is done weekly. The County also provides a trailer at 205 Depot St. in Louisville that is always available to city as well as County residents. The County and City agreed that the City maintenance crew takes the trailer to First Star in Omaha whenever it gets full. The City also has a designated spot for yard waste, tree branches, etc. for City residents only.

Description: The Montcalm County Solid Waste Planning Committee provides recycling for Montcalm County residents through convenient drop-off locations. Locations include: Howard City, Lakeview, Edmore, Carson City, Crystal, and Stanton. These single stream collection sites are open 24-7 and are designed to collect household generated recyclables. The SWPC also offers electronic recycling for a small fee. This service is hosted at the Mid-Michigan District Health Department in Stanton, and requires an appointment prior to bringing in electronics.
