Reclaim division, hours differ from restore hours. We are often willing to work outside of our typical day and time schedule depending on the project and deadlines. We are always looking for reusable materials such as antiques, appliances, cabinets, doors, windows, and much more if it can be repurposed to the general public or reuse, we will do our best to find a home for it.
Materials:

Description: Habitat for Humanity of the greater La Crosse Region’s ReClaim salvage program can help home and business owners, save money on demolition costs. It is a free service, whereas labor, landfilling, and dumpster fees can have lots of costume project, and all reclaimed items are tax deductible. Items are sold at the ReStore, where every dollar earned supports our work of creating affordable homes. We also install many ReClaim items in our current construction and rehab projects. This approach exemplifies the idea of a circular economy, or products are reused, rather than replaced with something new.

Description: Genesis Electronics Recycling 2045 S Valentia Street, Unit 15 Denver, CO 80231 720-881-7238 cs@genesisrecycling.net Electronic waste landfill ban effective July 1, 2013: What consumers and home-based business owners need to know about the Electronic Recycling Jobs Act What is the Electronic Recycling Jobs Act and how does it affect me? Senate Bill 12-133, known as the “Electronic Recycling Jobs Act,” prohibits the disposal of waste electronic devices (e-waste) in Colorado as of July 1, 2013. This new law will have sweeping implications for consumers and home business operators throughout the state. Industry, non-home-based businesses, government agencies, institutions and schools already are subject to restrictions on disposal of electronic waste. Genesis Electronics Recycling in located in Denver, CO and ready to support your electronic waste recycling needs and support the Senate Bill for Colorado. Genesis Electronics Recycling is a member of Colorado Association for Recycling (CAFR), Building Owners and Managers Association's (BOMA), and registered with Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). What devices are banned from Colorado landfills? “Waste electronic devices” include television sets, central processing units (CPUs), computer monitors, peripherals, printers, fax machines, laptops, notebooks, ultra books, net books, electronic tablets, digital video disc players, video cassette recorders and video display devices with a screen greater than four inches. Genesis Electronics Recycling has a complete list and any associated fees required to recycling any and all of your electronics. Does the ban affect the entire state? Yes. Genesis Electronics Recycling is located in the Denver, Colorado area we provide event support, collection boxes, and pick ups to help process your e-waste safely. Why are these materials being banned from landfills? Electronic devices contain a number of hazardous constituents, such as lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium, chromium and silver. Computer batteries also may contain nickel- cadmium, lithium or sealed lead acid. These materials are not a concern when the equipment is in use, but these harmful chemicals could migrate if disposed in a landfill, contaminating groundwater and soil. Genesis Electronics Recycling prides itself in being a 0% landfill recycling firm. All components are recycled one way or another. If I can’t throw these devices away, how can I dispose of them legally? It may be possible to donate or re-sell working electronic devices, although even this option is becoming more difficult as thrift stores become more discriminating about what they will accept. The most environmentally responsible option is recycling, through a community collection event, or a reputable electronics recycling firm. How can I protect my personal data? You are solely responsible for protecting personal information stored on the hard drive of computers or printers prior to recycling. Genesis Electronics Recycling offers a very valuable service of “Certified Hard Drive Destruction”. This service will safely destroy your personal information and protect you from Identity Theft. We comply with all the privacy laws such as HIPPA, Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. So we are safe for all doctors, lawyers, CPAs, Banks, and insurance companies.
