Sands Township provides residents with garbage pickup and drop-off recycling services. Drop-off recycling is available at the Sands Township Transfer Station located at 55 Flodin Road, approximately 4 miles south of the Sands Township Office Complex on M553.

Description: We believe there is great value in offering recycling services to our community. The "Three R's" -- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, help in saving resources and the environment. Recycling means taking a product or material at the end of its useful life and turning it into a usable raw material to make another product. Item donations to our thrift store that are not suitable for resale are sold to third-world countries (mostly Africa & South America).
