At this time Pollution Solution allows each resident of the county to dispose of 4 CAR TIRES ONLY for FREE. Please remember that you cannot transport more than ten scrap tires at a time in a vehicle unless you are a registered scrap tire transporter or meet an exemption in the Ohio Administrative Code. Scrap Tire Fees CASH, CHECK, OR DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS General Public Rates: $.10/LB – passenger tires without rims $.10/LB – passenger tires with rims $.10/LB – tractor tires or mixed loads $.10/LB – semi tires Licensed Tire Transporter Rates: $.07/LB – passenger tires $.10/LB – mixed loads $.10/LB – semi tires Please follow these guidelines when bringing in clean tires: Notify scale operator with loads of tires at time of check in. Tires do not need to be covered. Earthmoving tires will not be accepted. Delivery of tires cannot include any municipal waste. Final inspection of tires will be made at the unloading area.
