Description: The Montcalm County Solid Waste Planning Committee provides recycling for Montcalm County residents through convenient drop-off locations. Locations include: Howard City, Lakeview, Edmore, Carson City, Crystal, and Stanton. These single stream collection sites are open 24-7 and are designed to collect household generated recyclables. The SWPC also offers electronic recycling for a small fee. This service is hosted at the Mid-Michigan District Health Department in Stanton, and requires an appointment prior to bringing in electronics.

Area - Shelter #2 - Buzzards Roost Boat Ramp - Camp Fellowship Lake Management Spray Shed  - River Fork Boat Ramp - Moon Landing These sites also serve as your disposal site for collected Cleanup Blitz trash and debris. SC DNR will give a presentation at the Lake Greenwood State Rec. Area - Shelter #2 at 11:30 am Once you are finished with your assigned area; meet us at 11:45am Lake Greenwood State Rec. Area - Shelter #2 for your complimentary lunch, t-shirt and prizes! Great community project for businesses, churches, clubs, lake communities, organizations, schools and students.
