Hours of Operation
Normal household recyclables (#1 & #2 plastic bottles, mixed paper, cardboard, steel cans, aluminum cans, glass bottles and jars) are accepted 24-hours per day.
Scrap metal and electronic waste items are only accepted on most Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (closed on holiday weekends)

The Benton County Recycling Center offers recycling for typical household recyclable materials (see below) 24-hours per day and offers recycling and/or disposal of household bulky waste (including household furniture, appliances, electronics and scrap metal) on Saturdays only (see details below).
Items generated by a business or commercial activity such as schools, government agencies, business, industry, in-home businesses, etc. may possibly be accepted for a fee. These entities should contact the District for disposal options and fee information.

Shredding Event - event is free and open to the public - please limit amount to approximately five medium size boxes. Electronics Recycling -event is free and open to the public - no limit. Paint Recycling/ReNew Event - $1.00 per quart/gallon container - $5.00 for 5 gallon container - no limit - proceeds benefit local food pantry. Clean-up Event - open to Norcross Residents only - drop off any bulky items, trash, old appliances/furniture and any other accumulated trash or unwanted items: SOLVENT OR HAZARDOUS MATERIAL WILL NOT BE ALLOWED(i.e. batteries, large car parts, motor, tires, oil, anti-freeze, concrete, household chemicals and similar items). "CAN" Do for Hunger Drive - drop off any canned or non-perishable items at any of the above listed events - not required in order to participate but greatly appreciated.
