Optional, Ms. Green 32 gallon, lidded, wheeled tote may be purchased. NO SORTING NECESSARY. Paper Shredding Service, second Saturday every month, 9 am-1pm. $5/copy paper box or kitchen bag. Mobile On-Site Shredding Truck for larger volumes.

Reclaim division, hours differ from restore hours. We are often willing to work outside of our typical day and time schedule depending on the project and deadlines. We are always looking for reusable materials such as antiques, appliances, cabinets, doors, windows, and much more if it can be repurposed to the general public or reuse, we will do our best to find a home for it.

Description: Habitat for Humanity of the greater La Crosse Region’s ReClaim salvage program can help home and business owners, save money on demolition costs. It is a free service, whereas labor, landfilling, and dumpster fees can have lots of costume project, and all reclaimed items are tax deductible. Items are sold at the ReStore, where every dollar earned supports our work of creating affordable homes. We also install many ReClaim items in our current construction and rehab projects. This approach exemplifies the idea of a circular economy, or products are reused, rather than replaced with something new.

WCR operates a recycling center for hard-to-recycle items such as electronics, tires, and paper. WCR serves as Westmoreland County Recycling Coordinator to assist businesses and municipalities implement and improve their recycling programs. WCR offers an extensive educational program for schools, youth groups and civic organizations to inform the public about recycling opportunities in their community.
