Set recycling out so that it is visible to the route driver. Make sure compost cans are clearly marked and visible to the route driver. Prohibited Items: The following items cannot be picked up due to landfill or safety regulations. Construction Material Drywall, paneling, wood, shingles, etc… Glass Windows, glass in doors, mirrors Concrete, Bricks, Rocks Dirt, Sod, Trees, or Tree stumps Car parts - Including tires Batteries - All kinds Anything weighing in excess of 30 pounds Hazardous Material Paint cans can only be taken if completely empty or paint is completely dry and hardened. It must be set out next to garbage with lids off so driver can verify condition. Any item that contains Freon. Freon must be removed by certified technician and have a tag with technicians license number on it. Once the Freon is removed and item is tagged, you can call us and schedule pickup.
