Description: Maria, founder of Unlimited Recycling established in 1999, is a “One-Stop-Shop” company specializing in waste disposal management, waste assessments and recycling services for solid, universal, sorted office and organic waste. The high demand and awareness in waste reduction/recycling has given the company an opportunity to expand services into building cleanouts. In addition, they offer equipment rental, including compactors, balers and dumpster roll-off services. Maria is an Alumni member of Stanford Graduate School Of Business of Stanford, CA and a mentor for the Stanford University Hispanic Entrepreneurship Program. She graduated from the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurs Leader Program in Cohort #3, winning Unlimited Recycling, Inc. 1st place in SLELP 2016 video competition. Unlimited Recycling has been recognized by the State of Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, and the Macomb Regional PTAC for her determination, efforts and success. In addition, she received excellent ratings from the United States Army for the completion of a 5-year waste and recycling contract. Unlimited Recycling graduated with honors from the SBA 8(a) program in 2012 and is currently a member of MDOT, Wayne County Airport Authority, WEBNC and Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Drop Off Recycling Center hours are Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 am- 6:30 pm and Saturday 9:00 am-6:00pm. They accept a broader range of materials including: Antifreeze (up to 1 gallon), batteries (automotive & rechargeable), books (hard & soft cover), cardboard/OCC, cloth/fabrics/linens (up to 3 bags), glass containers, hard plastics, magazines, metal/steel, motor oil (up to 5 gallons), office paper, oil filters, paper products, plastic bags, single stream recyclables, styrofoam, vegetable Oil (up to 5 gallons). Curbside Recycling accepted materials include: Plastic bottles or tubs with numbers 1 (PET), 2 (HDPE), 4 (LDPE), 5 (PP), No. 6 (PS) or No. 7 on the bottom. Clear, green, and brown glass food and beverage containers - bottles and jars only. Tin & aluminum, including cans, foil, and trays. Scrap metal up to 1 cubic foot. Clean milk cartons & juice boxes, Paper Goods, Corrugated Cardboard & Boxboard, Cereal boxes, cardboard egg cartons, and similar type material. Newspaper, magazines, junk mail, and paperback books.

Description: This is a self-serve, indoor, drop-off center for clean and sorted recyclables. Open to all households and businesses; fees may apply, read below. Please stop in for a tour and learn the best way to recycle from friendly people who can answer your questions. We are here to help! FREE RECYCLING Recycle only: cardboard, styrofoam, batteries – no charge. Non-profit and community groups can recycle all materials free. RECYCLING FEES Annual membership recommended for households who use our center all their recycling needs. This is a one time fee, good for an entire year. Regular:$45 Super Recycler: $65 For household recycling without membership: $2 per visit. Electronic Waste Recycling: Up to $0.25 per pound. (not included with membership or door fee) Business: Annual membership based on materials to be recycled and quantities. Business membership plans range from $45 to $125 per year. Invoices and receipts can be provided. Please note that we accept cardboard recycling free. We can handle large quantities.
