Description: The Fremont HomeStore opened it's doors in our first location, a garage, in January 2012. We quickly outgrew our first location and moved into a larger warehouse, which we also outgrew fairly quickly. In February of 2014, we purchased, our current, 14,000 square foot warehouse to become our HomeStore and to provide an area for our construction crew to store tools, materials, and to use in inclement weather. The HomeStore is a home improvement outlet that sells new and gently-used donated merchandise. Items include appliances, building supplies, furniture, and household items. The HomeStore allows community members to donate their items for re-sale, keeping them out of the landfill. All items are sold at a discount, allowing persons of every income level to purchase items. A small staff with the help of many volunteers, receive, sort and assist customers. Revenues generated by the store fund our mission to build affordable, safe and energy efficient Habitat homes. The HomeStore is open Fridays from 8am to 4pm, and Saturdays from 8am to 2pm. We accept donations on Fridays until 2:00PM and on Saturdays until NOON.

We are a registered e-CYCLING collector through the WI DNR's E-Cycle WI Program, open for electronics collection every Friday from 9am to 4pm, as well as occasional special events. We charge $0.45/lb (sole exception being smoke detectors - flat-rate $15), with all proceeds supporting our Health Equipment Lending Program (local loans of sanitized, used durable medical equipment to our community at no required cost) and our humanitarian shipments of durable medical equipment to those in need within the US as well as internationally. We accept almost all consumer electronics, as well as business devices. Collected electronics are prepared for final material recycling, then sent directly to an R2V3- and E-Stewards-certified, DNR-registered end recycler in Onalaska, WI, where an incredible 99.6% of the material taken in is reclaimed for use in future products!
