Materials:

Description: The Eaton County Department of Resource Recovery (ECDRR) is the designated implementing agency responsible for the development and administration of the County Waste Management Plan under Public Act 641. ECDRR is a resource to Eaton County residents. Tips on recycling, reuse and waste reduction are readily available during office hours, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm at (517) 543-3686. Special collection events are organized each year to accommodate the proper disposal of wastes such as Household Hazardous Waste, Electronics, Scrap Tires, Books, and more. Click on UPCOMING EVENTS for details. Year-round programs include Collection Points for the following: Household Batteries, Cell Phones, Mercury Thermometers, and Cooking Oil Recovery. The Freon Recovery Credit Program and a Medical Sharps Mail-Back Program are also available. Click on Resource Recovery Programs for details. ECDRR provides information from local recycling centers but each center operates under the municipality in which it resides. For answers to questions on recycling in your neighborhood, call your local city or village hall. **We do not accept recycled materials at our office. We hold one-day collection events throughout the county. Check our website at www.eatoncounty.org/recycling for dates and locations**
