Anyone can bring their recycling to this facility but must pay in the office, $5.00 per truckload. If you are a City of Houghton resident and you have missed your recycling day, please still enter the office and let them know your address and what you are doing. CURBSIDE RECYCLING MUST BE AT THE CURBSIDE BY 7AM ON YOUR SERVICE DAY.

CORRUGATED CARDBOARD & PAPER - Open Mon.-Fri. 8am to 4:30pm, Sat. 8am to 3pm. No Sundays or Holidays. A large "red dumpster" is on site for your use (100 Hill Rd., Denver, PA), located behind municipal building. Dumpsters are marked. Corrugated Cardboard: A fluted or corrugated sheet and one or two flat liner boards, similar to shipping boxes (not cereal boxes). Break down cardboard to fit into slots. Paper: Computer paper, envelopes, index cards, manila folder, paper, stationery, carbonless paper, junk mail, pamphlets, newspapers, magazines, phone books (not the covers), etc. No plastic grocery bags. CFL bulbs, cell phone drop off in lobby.
