Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off in St. Joseph County(Mishawaka)

St. Joseph is home to a permanent Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection facility which accepts various residential materials on a free drop-off basis. The Solid Waste Management District's Household Hazardous Waste Program has two main goals: 1. To educate the public about household hazardous waste. 2. To make available safe and acceptable disposal options for household hazardous waste. Drop Off Hazardous Waste: Electronics from businesses and institutions will be accepted only through prior arrangements with the district. St. Joseph County residents will be able to deliver electronics to the HHW sites during regular business hours. All electronics are accepted free of charge.
