We collect all types of x-ray film for recycling and silver recovery from individuals as well as businesses, the pick-up is free for 50 lbs or more and we also pay for the film by the lb and provide a HIPAA compliant certificate of destruction. For smaller quantities (less than 50 lbs) we offer a free mail in service, meaning that people can send us the film and we will recycle it for free and provide a certificate of destruction. We also pick-up for a fee of $29.99 and provide a certificate of destruction.

Great Lakes Loan Closets provides a directory of organizations that accept medical equipment. These organizations lend the medical equipment to members of the community who are recovering from illness or accidents. Most organizations do not charge people to borrow the equipment, while some charge a nominal fee to help cover the cost of the program (cleaning supplies, equipment parts, office supplies, etc.)
Equipment typically accepted includes: Wheelchairs, Walkers, Canes, Quad Canes, Crutches, 4-Wheeled Walkers (Rollators), Bath Chairs, Bath Transfer Benches, Raised Toilet Seats, Commodes, etc.
There are also programs listed that accept hearing aids. The hearing aids are used to help people with hearing loss.

Annual membership recommended for households who use our center all their recycling needs. This is a one time fee, good for an entire year.
Regular:$45 Super Recycler: $65
For household recycling without membership: $2 per visit.
Electronic Waste Recycling: Up to $0.25 per pound. (not included with membership or door fee)
Business: Annual membership based on materials to be recycled and quantities. Business membership plans range from $45 to $125 per year. Invoices and receipts can be provided. Please note that we accept cardboard recycling free. We can handle large quantities.
