For Summer Hours (April 1 - Oct 31) the station is open everyday until 7:00pm. Closed on all statutory holidays except Family Day (the third Monday in February). If the wind exceeds 60km/hour the landfill will be closed. During times of high wind conditions, below 60km/hour, the landfill may be closed at the discretion of the scale house. If you are uncertain please call 403-327-3288 to confirm.

Description: Legal Land Location: SW 6-1-21-W4 -Domestic garbage only. -Large items such as PVC pipe, vinyl siding etc. to be broken into 4 ft pieces. -No toxic/hazardous waste -White goods/metal scrap/wood scrap disposed of at the Special Waste Site location -Larger items such couches, mattresses, rolls of carpet piled separately as directed by Station Operator -Residential demolition/reno waste accepted at a rate of one pick-up truck per day, contractors must go to the County Landfill -Twine - to be piled separately as directed by the Station Operator -Small animals will be accepted only if placed and sealed in plastic bags. Larger animals will not be accepted. -No straw, hay, rock, brick, cement -Check with Transfer Station Operator for proper disposal of paints -Tire are to be piled in a separate area. -Appliances containing Freon are taken for $10, payment can be made to local Town, Village or Municipality office.
