For Summer Hours (April 1 - Oct 31) the station is open everyday until 7:00pm. Closed on all statutory holidays except Family Day (the third Monday in February). If the wind exceeds 60km/hour the landfill will be closed. During times of high wind conditions, below 60km/hour, the landfill may be closed at the discretion of the scale house. If you are uncertain please call 403-327-3288 to confirm.

Description: Every year, the City of Camrose hosts a Household Hazardous Waste Round Up on the third Friday and Saturday in June and the first Friday and Saturday in October. This event is located at the Public Works Yard at 4202 – 51 Avenue. Unused household products that contain corrosive, toxic, flammable, or reactive ingredients are considered to be household hazardous waste. These materials should not be put in the trash or poured down the drain. Instead, reduce the use of chemicals or use safer alternatives and make use of the Household Hazardous Waste Round Up for safe disposal of your household hazardous wastes. Description: Specializing in the recycling and cleaning of solid waste, RBW Waste Management Ltd. recycles soiled wiping rags and absorbents, automotive and process filters, plastic waste, and spent aerosol containers. In 2003, they added more services as they progressed into handling contaminated soil and brokering of liquid hydrocarbons, glycol, electronic waste, batteries, lab and chemical wastes. There is also a drop off option as long as people phone first to make arrangements. For drop off, they have warehouses in Dawson Creek, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Peace River, Bonnyville, and Redcliff.
