Your city or township contracts with Republic Waste or Waste Management to pick up and process curbside recycling. Midland Recyclers is a non-profit 501c3 organization serving the Great Lakes Bay Region for over 31 years. MIDLAND RECYCLERS ACCEPTS “HARD TO RECYCLE” ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE RECYCLED AT CURBSIDE. WHAT ARE “HARD TO RECYCLE” ITEMS? Plastic bags, shredded paper, vinyl siding, polystyrene foam, batteries, electronics, and colored glass containers. Drop-off at 417 State St in Kipton for mixed paper and cardboard bins are available 24 hours in the parking lot. The rest of the recycling is through curbside pick-up in carts. You must subscribe to trash pick-up to get recycling. You may take many items to the Lorain County Recycle Center if you are a Lorain County Resident if you do not subscribe to trash pick-up.
