Description: We promote recycling and waste reduction by operating an independent, non-profit site for collecting, sorting, consolidating, and transporting recyclable materials from Livingston County, MI, and the surrounding area. We accept many items that a curbside recycling program does not such as Styrofoam, Latex Paint, Household Batteries, among other items. Description: Keep Mohawk Valley Beautiful is organized as a committee under the Mohawk Valley Economic Development District (MVEDD). We are an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful (KAB), and we operate in the six New York counties of the Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council). In addition to fulfilling our KAB mission, we are also sponsors of the Greater Mohawk Valley Land Bank (GMVLB), which covers the same geographic area.
