Description: We manage 7 full service Area Collection Stations as well as the Dunn County Transfer Station and Recycling Center. We are committed to the environment by keeping materials out of the landfill. Besides recycling standard items such as paper and #1 & #2 plastics, residents can also recycle electronics, appliances, motor oil and filters, rechargeable batteries, sharps and more. ReCyclone, Dunn County's recycling mascot, works with the community to promote waste reduction and recycling efforts through education. ReCyclone, "a force of nature for nature" has been spotted at schools, civic organizations, fairs, parades, and festivals.

Description: Appliances can be brought to the recycling center for a minimal fee.  Freon containing items such as refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners are $20.00.  There is no chargefor stoves, water heaters, washers, dryers and other small appliances. From May through October good usable latex paint is collected and made available, free of charge, to the public. In addition, White County residents may drop off obsolete computers and televisions, copiers, fax machines, scanners, cell phones and other accessories to the center during normal business hours. Plastic flower pots and trays, as well as clear or white soil/mulch bags, are also accepted. *Free pick up of corrugated cardboard for local businesses is available for a minimal start up fee. Please call the center for further information!!!
