Please follow this procedure: Come into the office, you will be asked for your driver's license as proof of Miami County residency. After check in, you will be directed to the proper area for dropping off your item. Note: Please register in the office first. Do not unload your vehicle before checking in. Do not leave any unattended drop offs. Please contact for more information regarding their locations and times. Fees may apply for bulky items. Single Stream (no sorting required) recycling is available in these locations: ~Amboy - At UCE Park near the rail road tracks ~Bennett's Switch - Corner of U.S. 31 and SR 18 ~Bunker Hill - Behind Town Hall ~Denver - At highway garage ~Erie - At Community Center ~Maconaquah High School - Behind high school ~Macy - Next to fire station ~Mexico - At the Community Center ~North Miami High School - Behind the high school ~Peru - for sorted and separated items. Description: Hardwick Recycling Center is located on 2011 Barre Rd. (Route 32), Wheelwright, MA a village of Hardwick MA. Our facility is open Wednesdays 9:00am-11:00am and Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm. In addition to accepting cardboard, mixed paper, commingle and glass we also take in many (HMW) hard to manage waste items such as mercury containing, ewaste, scrap metals, tires, used oil filters, used antifreeze, appliances, textiles, fluorescent bulbs, pcb-containing ballasts, etc. For a detailed list and pricing you can visit our website. One of the things we provide that is used by many is the "swap shed". New / gently used items come and go quickly.
