Montgomery County operates a scrap tire collection facility at the South Transfer Station. A fee is charged on tires brought to the facility. Montgomery County residents may dispose of 10 passenger car/truck tires per year at no charge. Proof of residency is required.
**Please remember that no more than 10 scrap tires can be hauled in a vehicle at a time, unless the transporter is a registered scrap tire transporter or meets an exemption in the Ohio Administrative Code.**
