Highlands County

Keep Highlands County Beautiful, Incorporated is a non-profit organization and a Keep America Beautiful affiliate in "Good Standing". The program is supported through the use of grants and charitable contributions from residents and businesses. KHCB is very involved with schools throughout Highlands County donating thousands of dollars to environmental and beautification projects such as butterfly gardens, reforestation of school grounds by replacing and or removal of storm damaged trees. The organization also works with local government to support Adopt-A-Road/Highway programs and is dedicated to see a litter free Highlands County.
