Jackson County Conservation District

Our mission is to promote wise land use decisions--based upon the capability of the natural resources of Jackson County--through technical assistance and education. Among other things, we act as a liaison between the public and waste management providers by providing recycling resources and education. We offer events such as the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day held once a year in September, as well as tire collection events that take place throughout the summer in various Jackson County townships.
