WHAT IS the mission of MIDLAND RECYCLERS? “To inspire the community to make a positive impact on the environment by providing the means and know how to reuse and recycle.” HOW IS MIDLAND RECYCLERS DIFFERENT FROM CURBSIDE RECYCLING? Your city or township contracts with Republic Waste or Waste Management to pick up and process curbside recycling. Midland Recyclers is a non-profit 501c3 organization serving the Great Lakes Bay Region for over 31 years. MIDLAND RECYCLERS ACCEPTS “HARD TO RECYCLE” ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE RECYCLED AT CURBSIDE. WHAT ARE “HARD TO RECYCLE” ITEMS? Plastic bags, shredded paper, vinyl siding, polystyrene foam, batteries, electronics, and colored glass containers. (Look inside for a complete list of what we accept.)

  • Place all clean, dry bags and film inside another bag and tie off
  • Remove caps/lids and put in trash
  • Rinse or wipe clean all food or other residue from bottles & containers
