City of Grand Haven

The City of Grand Haven is committed to environmental sustainability. The importance of a sustainable and resilient community is integral to the city’s master plan (http://www.grandhaven.org/2016-grand-haven-master-plan/). The City of Grand Haven has also been voted the 2017 Happiest Seaside Town by Coastal Living. Our downtown features a rich history and vibrant shopping district, and the civic pride of the residents feature heavily into city planning and development. The downtown features public recycling available to businesses and residents downtown, and is open 24 hours a day to the public. City Hall is only open during selected hours.
