What does LCSWMA accept for recycling at our locations?
LCSWMA provides drop-off services to residents of Lancaster County at the Transfer Station Complex, Waste-to-Energy Facility and Frey Farm Landfill. Residents may put plastic bottles/jugs (anything with a neck), aluminum and steel cans, glass bottles/jars and cardboard in the containers at their convenience. LCSWMA accepts white goods (large appliances), and tires for recycling at the facilities. Additionally, LCSWMA has a permanent Household Hazardous Waste Facility that accepts various items including E-Waste, batteries, and fluorescent bulbs for recycling.
