What is Clean Cities Sweep?
Clean Cities Sweep is typically held in April and is our biggest volunteer event. It is a partnership between Keep Charleston Beautiful and Keep North Charleston Beautiful, and is held in conjunction with Keep America Beautiful's Great American Cleanup. It is an opportunity for groups to clean up or beautify the two cities. Clean Cities Sweep is two fold: schools are given March and April to plan and host projects; community groups have one key week in which to take part in a project of their choice. Community groups can do projects during other times in April if needed.
