Description: -Domestic garbage only in the dumpster (No Liquid waste) -No toxic/hazardous waste, such as flammable liquids -White goods must be placed in the Special Waste Site location. There is a $10 charge for Freon containing appliances. Payment can be made at local town or village office and the receipt brought to the transfer station -Large items including wood or metal products must be in 4 foot lengths -Asphalt shingles are limited to pick up truck loads (Not allowed in the burn pit) -Twine and wire must be piled separately as directed by the site operator -Burning barrels must be completely extinguished before being accepted -Small animals will be accepted only if placed in sealed plastic bags. Larger animals will not be accepted. -Car and truck bodies are not accepted. -Propane tanks or pressurized cylinders are accepted only if the valve is removed. -All barrels are to be opened at one end. -No farm machinery will be accepted. -Only waste defined as burnable debris in the Clean Air Regulations will be accepted at the burn pit sit, eg. trees, branches, garden waste, straw, grass, wooden construction material, etc. -Waste defined as prohibited debris in the Clean Air Regulations, eg. construction or demolition waste, rubber or plastic, used oils, asphalt shingles, cement, chemicals, wire, manure, treated wood, etc. is not accepted in the burn pit. -Agricultural products such as grain, seed, feed, hay straw or manure is not allowed in the transfer station -Tires are accepted and must be placed separately as directed by the site operator.Tire mounted on rims are not accepted. Rear tractor tires or large off-road tires are not accepted. -The station operator may refuse any waste that, in the judgement of the operator, should be rejected by reason of unknown content that may be a hazard. Baseline Recycling Center Hours of operation are: Monday thru Saturday 7 am to 5 pm and Open Sunday 9 am to 7 pm.

Description: Residents that Pay the Solid Waste Assessment to Marion County can use anyone of the 18 Recycling Centers at no charge. Residents can bring in thier household garbage and recyclables, plus other items. Items accepted for recycling include: Glass bottles sorted by color, rinsed, lids removed Accepting All Plastics: all plastics #1 through #5 and #7. No number #6 - Sorry No Styrofoam. Newspaper and inserts, loose or bundled Magazines and junk mail Clean corrugated cardboard, no wax coated and please flatten boxes Aluminum cans and clean aluminum foil Rinsed tin cans now go into the scrap metal box Used motor oil and oil filters (5 gallons or less per visit accepted in 1 gallon containers) Household and automotive batteries Latex paint (5 gallons or less per visit) Textiles - Clothes and shoes Yard waste (2 cubic yards per day per resident; under 4 inch diameter and 4 feet long accepted) Scrap metal and appliances--NO COMMERCIAL Sharps (In approved bio-hazard containers in the kiosks.) NO mattresses or box springs are accepted Electronic Equipment is Acceptable at the Recycling Centers as long it can safely go into the Compactor Boxes. Oversized Electronics will need to be brought to the Baseline Landfill for Proper Disposal. No Business generated E-waste accepted. NO furniture except on designated days
