Description: We will be at the Five Mile Flea market on Joel Road in Carthage on April 13th from 8 – 4. We will be collecting electronics/paint to recycle at 1777 Joel Road, Carthage, NC. This is FREE to residents AND Businesses of Moore county and beyond. Toxins from waste electronics are a serious environmental concern. Computers and consumer electronics contain toxic heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium and beryllium and hazardous chemicals, such as brominated flame retardants. Latex paint needs to be dried up completely before it is disposed. Instead give it new life by bringing it to this recycling event where the paint will be re-blended and reused. We will be accepting the following items, BUT NO TELEVISIONS.
